August 27, 2026

The official trailer for TURNOVER — the second novel by Israeli documentary filmmaker and author Noam Shalev — is now live on YouTube. Published in 2026 as the follow-up to Shalev’s debut novel Land Looking Down (ארץ מביטה מטה, 2022), TURNOVER (התהפכות) is a dual-timeline suspense novel. Dr. Danny Goren, an Israeli historian with an exceptional memory, is recruited into a secret international scientific project to travel back in time and prove the historical existence of Jesus. The story alternates between a present-day narrative — opening with Goren summoned to the Israeli Prime Minister’s office — and ancient Jerusalem in 32 CE.

Not to be confused with: the 2020 American film Turnover, the Australian rock band Turnover, or other unrelated works sharing the same one-word title. This TURNOVER is the 2026 novel by Israeli author Noam Shalev.
